Course Texts
Course Outline
This Mahamudra immersion is centered around Tilopa’s famous song of realization (Sanskrit: doha) called The Ganges Mahamudra. The first four modules focuses on establishing the view of Mahamudra by going through the first eight verses of Tilopa’s root verses and receiving instructions on how to make them relevant to our own lives.
In the last four modules, we will explore how to bring the view of Mahamudra into practice by studying the latter half of the root verses of the Ganges Mahamudra. In the last module of the course, we will also familiarize ourselves with the Tibetan side of the Mahamudra tradition and read about some of its important lineage figures.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Should I Attend?
This teaching will be beneficial for Mahamudra or Dzogchen practitioners. If you are a Path of Liberation student, it will help you come to a more profound understanding and to enhance your nature of mind practice. We will practice this most important teaching of Mahamudra teachings of Tilopa verse by verse, and we’ll learn about the view, meditation, application and result.
Furthermore, our Tergar guides will offer weekly live sessions, and you will also hear from lineage teachers and leading voices within the Vajrayana tradition in interviews and webinars.
This seems like too much for me . . . How much time will it take?
Don’t worry, you will only need about one hour to complete each lesson, and you can take the course at your pace.
Where can I purchase Text Book?
Stainless Prajna: Meditation Manual on the Treasury of Abhidharma is not yet published. The English translation is expected to be completed next year. A draft translation is provided to all Vajrayana Online members as part of the course materials.
Keep in mind that this is a traditional Buddhist meditation manual, not a typical book. Reading alone is not enough to truly understand it — the best approach is to learn directly from Mingyur Rinpoche, Tergar lamas, and Tergar guides throughout the Buddhist Psychology Immersion. During the course, you will receive teachings and practical guidance to explore each chapter and meditation in the text.
